What is Project Europe?
Project Europe is an investment initiative designed to empower founders under 25 years old who are solving hard technical problems. The program offers significant early-stage support:
- €200,000 initial investment for a 6.66% equity stake
- Direct mentorship from accomplished Project Europe Partners
- Exclusive masterclasses on Sales, Product and Growth
- Annual offsite retreats for cohort collaboration
- Media support through 20VC platforms
- Access to a network of 125+ tier 1 European founders
The initiative funds 10-20 promising founders annually, focusing on those with technical solutions who are in the early ideation stages or already working on a specific thesis.
Cledara’s Leadership on Project Europe
As a company with deep European roots, Cledara's leadership sees tremendous value in supporting the continent's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Cristina Vila, Cledara's CEO and Founder, explains her commitment: "I love Europe and I love Project Europe. Which is why I am excited to join 125 of the continent’s most successful founders to find the next generation of entrepreneurs that will build category-defining companies and shape the future of Europe."
The Importance of Supporting European Innovation
Project Europe represents a critical shift in Europe's entrepreneurial landscape. The initiative addresses a fundamental challenge: encouraging greater risk-taking among young European entrepreneurs.
The program embraces a global mindset. Founders can move their businesses outside Europe or build remote organizations across continents - what matters is nurturing tech companies with European roots that can compete on the world stage.
